Girdwood Fire and Rescue

	Fire Chief William Chadwick William Chadwick is a founding member of Girdwood EMS, formed from the Girdwood mountain Rescue Group in 1974. Bill had previous experience as a wildland firefighter and a professional ski patrolman. Prior to his employment as fire chief in July of 1998, Bill completed a 21 year career as a firefighter/paramedic with the Anchorage, Alaska Fire Department. Bill is a state certified Paramedic and EMT, ACLS, PALS, BTLS, and PEPP Instructor as well as a Firefighter 1. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy and the University of Alaska, Anchorage.

	Assistant EMS Chief Terry Kadel Terry has been a member of the Girdwood Fire Department since 1995. He is a state certified Paramedic and EMT, ACLS, PALS and PEPP Instructor as well as a Firefighter and Engineer. GVFR Board of Directors Seat "A".
